What data we process and why

This site carries out the following processing activities:

Technical data generated by any visit (IP address, date and time, browser), logged by the hosting provider to keep the service running and secure.

Data you share when messaging us on WhatsApp (phone number and conversation content), in order to assist you through that channel.

Data you provide in the contact form (name, email address, phone number and the content of your message), in order to handle and answer your enquiry.

Legal basis

Processing of the data you provide to contact us or make a booking is based on your consent and on pre-contractual steps taken at your request (articles 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Technical data strictly necessary to provide the service and keep it secure is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (article 6(1)(f)). Analytics and any non-essential service are only activated with your consent (article 6(1)(a)).

The identification data published in the legal notice is processed to comply with a legal obligation (article 6(1)(c), in connection with article 10 of Law 34/2002).

How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for and, thereafter, for the applicable statutory limitation periods.

Messages you send us through the contact form are kept for a maximum of twelve months if they do not lead to a relationship with us. If they do, they are kept for as long as it lasts and for the applicable statutory periods.

If you withdraw your consent or request erasure, we stop processing the data unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations or to handle potential claims.

Recipients

We do not disclose your data to third parties except where legally required. Providers acting as processors are involved under a contract compliant with article 28 GDPR: the site's hosting and content delivery provider.

Messages sent through the contact form are stored in the Effivis management platform, which processes them as a processor on behalf of Tapas Góngora, S.L. and solely so that we can handle and follow up on your enquiry.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to tabernagongora@gmail.com, stating which right you are exercising and proving your identity.

You may also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
